Claire Gardiner offers professional supervision for Accredited Practising Dietitians working with clients experiencing eating disorders and disordered eating as well as in the areas of fertility and perinatal nutrition. She is a member of Dietitians Australia (DA) and is a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC).
Claire's experience is mainly in the public hospital setting and she has been working at the Queensland Eating Disorder Service for the past 6 years. Claire has worked with eating disorder clients in hospital settings (both medical wards and mental health wards), outpatient settings (individual and day program) and also has experience providing consultation services to teams across Queensland in the management of eating disorder consumers.
In her role, Claire enjoys providing individual supervision to dietitians, facilitating peer support groups and providing regular ad-hoc peer support to dietitians across Queensland. Claire values regular clinical supervision and as a supervisor aims to support supervisees to enhance their confidence and capacity to deliver high quality dietetic treatment.
