Adv Accredited Practising Dietitian

About my practice

As a sole practitioner I understand the value and importance of supervision. I aim to create a safe space to share problems or concerns, to ask questions (big or small!) and to facilitate reflection. In my own experience Supervision has helped me to find the answers that are often hovering just at the edges of my consciousness and has provided a supportive environment to discuss all sorts of issues.
My supervision style is based on listening and reflection, and my personal style of communication is open and easy going. I aim for Supervisees to have a positive and meaningful experience of Supervision with me.
My career in dietetics started out in the public health system in NSW spanning almost 20 years where I worked as both a clinical and food service dietitian. For the last 7 years I have run my own private practice where I see a range of clients – I work a lot with IBS and low FODMAP diets, diabetes and heart disease, and a large portion of my work week is spent in the disability sector with NDIS clients, as well as Aged Care. I also do Food Service Consulting to businesses and government organisations and I teach casually at the University of Wollongong – so a mixed bag of skills really!
