About this supervisor

Elizabeth Stathakis

Dietitian

About my practice

Supervision is extremely helpful in honing dietetic skills and counselling style/approach, it can be useful to debrief challenges and reflect in practice. When working in challenging areas supervision can form an important part of self-care. I have been fortunate enough to have fantastic supervisors that have supported my growth in dietetics over the past few years.
My supervision practice provides a non-judgemental, safe, collaborative space for reflection, learning and growth.

My background is primarily in mental health/eating disorders as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and Nutritionist, Exercise Physiologist and Health Coach in Private Practice. I also run client group programs through private practice and for the Butterfly Foundation.
I have worked at a Dietitian at the Eating Disorder Units at Wesley Hospital Ashfield and Northside West Clinic Wentworthville, as well as the Senior Dietitian at Hunters Hill Private Hospital in joint rehabilitation and Parkinson's Disease.
