I have worked as a dietitian across private and public health in regional and metropolitan areas and am a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician. I eventually found my love for working in the mental health and eating disorder space, and want to support others who share this passion. I currently work in private practice at my own clinic Easy to Digest and at the Queensland Eating Disorder Service, with my caseloads predominantly spanning across all eating/feeding disorders and gastrointestinal disorders. My approach is client centred, trauma informed, non-diet and neurodiversity affirming care.
I have provided supervision and mentoring in formal and informal capacities across all of my roles including individual supervision to dietitians, facilitating peer support groups and providing regular ad-hoc peer support to dietitians across Queensland. I also receive supervision of my supervision to ensure I support my practice too! I aim to create a safe and judgement free space for clinicians to support their practice and to allow them to feel more connected while working in the eating disorder space. I approach each supervision session with curiosity, and encourage a space for reflection, respect, compassion and growth.
Supervision has been an essential part of my growth as a clinician and a person, and has helped me navigate challenging situations with warmth and safety.
I offer supervision to early career dietitians or those with less than five years of experience working with eating disorders, which may be for a short-term or long-term supervisory relationship.
