About me:
I have been working as a dietitian since graduating in 2015 and have been fortunate to have access to supervision for most of that time. Supervision has been an integral part of helping me to grow my confidence as a clinician and navigate the challenges that come along with working with people. I have a background in private practice and inpatient mental health working within eating disorder and substance use disorder treatment programs. I am currently employed as dietitian team leader in a multidisciplinary private practice (Mind Body Well) where I provide supervision and support to the team. With clients I offer weight inclusive approaches to a range of physical and mental health concerns with a strong focus on disordered eating and eating disorders particularly in men and LGBTIQA+ communities.
My supervision practice:
I am available to provide individual supervision to dietitians at any stage of their career including new graduates, and with all levels of experience with supervision whether it's new to you or has been a longer standing part of your practice. You might be interested in forming an ongoing supervision relationship or seeking a shorter arrangement for more targeted support with a situation or presentation that has you feeling stuck e.g. working with trans and gender diverse clients. I offer a space that supports reflective practice and can be adapted to meet your needs and experience level.
As a queer dietitian I am particularly excited to be able to offer supervision to any LGBTIQA+ dietitians who would prefer to work with someone from the community. At this stage I am only offering individual supervision but open to establishing a group for LGBTIQA+ dietitians and/or cis-het dietitians working with LGBTIQA+ communities if there is any interest.
